Hillary Goldthwait-Fowles, Ph.D. ATP is an accessibility accomplice with over 20 years of teaching and consultancy experience in the field of Special Education, Assistive Technology, Accessible Educational Materials, and Universal Design for Learning. She is a subject matter expert in inclusive teaching practices at 2 universities, an independent Special Education and Assistive Technology consultant, providing evaluation, training, and consultation services to school districts, families, and businesses seeking to leverage AT, AEM and UDL in their settings. She firmly believes that we have education set up to retrofit out of what is perceived as normal, and that we must work collaboratively to shift this paradigm for every learner. Hillary has presented locally and nationally on a variety of curricular and technology topics, including AT, AEM, UDL, Apple and Google solutions, and RTI. Hillary happily lives in Saco, Maine as an empty nester with her husband while her son and stepson forge their own paths in the world.
